The Shell
demons attacking
at every turn
looking for
a vulnerable spot
and finding
more
than they bargained for
I’m losing it
stalking insanity
for a lil peace
cause living
inside
this mind
is torture
dreams
of being gutted
like an animal
by trusted hands
of overdosed
bodies
lying dormant
on sweltering concrete
lies beginning
to form truths
I’ve listened to them
so much
my brain
is crying out
but noise never
escapes my lips
cause no one
hears
no one
listens
I am confined
to this hell
parasites
eating away
at my mind
or what’s left of it
and handing me
the scraps
and telling me
to enjoy
for there is no one
to help me
no one to hold me
all that’s left
is this shell

I replied to this fantastic poem on TVA, so (enter comments here) I love this poem and it reminds me of myself and my style of writing...I thoroughly enjoyed this piece..and this is why we write..get it out, self expression, there's nothing wrong with writing the truth about how you may feel at any given time..it's very real..and we have all been there. This poem has great language and flow. Absolutely a great style and shows your versatility.

this is why i created a seperate blog..just for my randome scarp book poetic words and or feelings..because sometimes things can't be said so literally and poetry is embeded in who we are..and we have to get it out. be peace. Love ya much, you're so talented and empathetic.
